Incorrect reports
Since mid-February, incorrect reports can be deleted and recreated. You can find the exact procedure here
Evaluations
Dysplasia and patellar luxation evaluations can be made in 3 ways: - by the pet owner by registering on the PHD platform, creating a PHBooklet for their pet and then writing a dysplasia or patellar luxation evaluation and sending it to the desired practice. Once the assessment has been completed, it is displayed in the PHBooklet - by the veterinary practice by searching for an existing PHBooklet and requesting access from the animal owner if access does not yet exist. Once the assessment has been completed, it is displayed in the PHBooklet. - by the veterinary practice if no PHBooklet exists for the animal. With this type, it is possible to log in to AMICUS and obtain animal and owner data from AMICUS. Once the report has been finalised, the practice must hand it over to the pet owner. Vet assistant
A TPA can be invited by an administrator to register on the PHD platform. A TPA can work on the PHD platform on behalf of all veterinarians who are registered for this practice. With a few exceptions, they have the same rights as a registered veterinarian. Currently, however, they cannot validate (finalise) patellar luxation reports.
Data migration
The data from the old PHD is linked to the new system but not imported into the system. When a dysplasia or patellar luxation assessment is created, the system checks whether an assessment already exists for this animal. If this is the case, the assessors will import the previous assessment into the new system.
Finances
The PHD platform is financed via the health five-figure voucher. Users of the PHD platform are asked to activate this in their practice profile on the AMICUS platform. The PHBooklet platform is financed via a subscription. A PHBooklet costs CHF 25 per animal per year. Payment is collected via an online payment system stored in the PHBooklet platform. The practice does not have to take care of this collection.

Support requests can be sent to the following e-mail address: phdsupport-de@phd-ag.ch
Emergency situation
If an emergency vet needs to be consulted at the weekend or during holidays, the owner can share their PHBooklet with the emergency vet. If the emergency vet is registered on the PHD, the authorisation can be completed with a single click. If the emergency vet is not registered on the PHD, the owner can ask the emergency vet to register on https://app.pethealthbooklet.ch/login. The owner can then share their PHBooklet with the emergency vet. The owner can set a time limit for both authorisations and revoke them at any time. In both cases, the emergency vet can upload their treatment report, documents and images, or send the documents to the owner and ask them to upload them.
PHBooklet
The veterinary practice can invite a pet owner to create a PHBooklet by providing them with a QR code. This can be sent directly from the practice management area of the PHD platform by e-mail or printed out and displayed in the practice. This takes the pet owner directly to the website www.phbooklet.ch.
Practice software
Several software providers (Oblon, Vetera, Diana, etc.) have a button at the patient level to access the PHD platform. After clicking this button, the user must log in to the PHD platform. The chip number is provided when the button is clicked. However, the animal can only be found in PHD if it has a PH booklet and this has been authorised for the practice by the owner. There is no link between PHD and AMICUS. With Oblon, the existing button can be used immediately after the update (click on the question mark in the top right menu). Oblon must be closed on all workstations except the main computer before the update. Vetera and Easyvet have the necessary information to program the direct call for their customers. For Diana, the call to the PHD platform works, but at the moment the chip number is not yet available. Under "Instructions" you will find a detailed explanation of the direct call from the practice software.
Registration
Veterinarians: - own account - older than 18 years - GLN number (link to MedReg) - Practising licence or veterinary diploma - Personal email address - belong to at least one practice verified in the PHD - you can be a member of several practices with the same account TPA - registration invitation from practice administrator - own account - older than 18 years - if TPA works in several practices - new invitation & account for each practice ! The PHD platform cannot be used without a verified practice (see practice administration)! Practice administration One veterinarian per practice or clinic must initially be responsible for administration. An administrator can enter the practice or clinic data. This requires - Email address and telephone number of the practice - Address of the practice - Description of the practice - Practice logo - Invite other vets from your practice to register on the platform - Invite TPA to register on the platform - appoint other vets as administrators - Invite a non-veterinary person for the practice administration and grant them administrator rights
Invite pete owners
In addition to the dysplasia and patellar luxation reports, documents can be stored in various folders (reports, laboratory, Rx images, photos, videos). For each filed document, the veterinarian can decide whether it should be displayed in the PHBooklet or not. This means that the PHD platform can also be used as a referral tool. The prerequisites for this are - a PHBooklet exists for the animal -. The referrer and referral recipient have access to the PHBooklet; access must be granted by the animal owner. The pet owner can also upload documents to the PHBooklet platform. The folder structure is the same as on the PHD platform. To make the veterinarian's work easier, the veterinarian can send documents to the pet owner directly from their practice software by e-mail and ask them to upload the documents and grant the referrer/referrer access to the PHBooklet.
Transfer documents
A new platform for the processing of dysplasia and patella luxation examinations has changed since 5 June. At least one vet per practice and all patella luxation assessors must be registered on https://app.pethealthdata.ch in order to be able to complete the process. I have already registered and am the administrator of the practice/clinic. As the tool can also be used for referrals in the future, I will now send out a registration invitation from the system to all vets and TPAs in our practice. Please let me know the e-mail addresses to which you would like to receive this invitation. Vets will need their GLN number and veterinary diploma or practising licence to register. Information on the PHD platform can be found here: http://www.pethealthdata.ch/faq and here http://www.pethealthdata.ch/tutorial . The support service listed there will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Dysplasia and patellar luxation reports can now be made available to owners on the PHBooklet. The owner must register at https://app.pethealthbooklet.ch and enter their animal. All veterinarians and TPAs registered on the PHD platform can access the corresponding registration data directly from the practice management area can send corresponding registration invitations to interested owners.
